Also, keep in mind that not all teachers are this dumb and if politicians would leave teachers alone to actually teach and stop threatening to fire us while buying us Macbooks and a surfeit of $50 math books that have the same darn formulas as the last set (the quadratic and Pythagorean equations haven’t changed in the past 10 years, I swear!)… we might actually do a better job because we’d feel like “professionals” instead of maligned babysitters.
